Based in the west end of Edinburgh our self styled leader, Founder and CEO is Neil Stewart. Neil previously founded the Java OS and SIM Tools business - Aspects Software - which he grew over 20 years to be the world leader in its field, claiming many technical and business 'firsts' on the way.

With his strong mobile telco and m-commerce history, Neil set the direction for the Helixion business in 2004 to address new technology challenges in security and payment that use secure elements in mobile devices.

We have a very strong engineering team led by Steve Harkins our Technical Manager who has a wealth of engineering experience gained here and overseas. He has led the product development to date and has built up world-leading expertise with his team in Secure Element technology for NFC mobile payment and the state-of-theart mobile phone application platforms which are now Helixion's flagship products.

The day to day activity of running of the office is left to Sue Balatoni, our Operations Manager and Company Secretary. She is kept busy managing all the accounts/recruitment and HR functions for the business as well as providing all admin support to the CEO and engineering departments.
