VisMPL is a complete, generic platform that allows the creation of Visa Mobile Applications (VMAs) on any mainstream Smartphone device.  A VMA provides all the mobile phone and powerful UI functionality required to support Visa’s NFC payment product capability

Secure Elements - microSD, SIM or Embedded

VisMPL is designed to hide the ‘difficult bits’ - i.e. the secure element payment and mobile gateway functions. This allows the Issuer or application developer to focus on the important part – generating a powerfully branded user-interface for their end-user customers using a standard API, whatever the underlying platform, regardless of the secure element involved – microSD, SIM or Embedded.

iPhone, Android, Blackberry

VisMPL comes in 2 flavours: Java or ‘C’. This allows a wide range of mobile phone makes and operating systems to be supported in a common way – iPhone (‘C’), Android (Java), Blackberry (Java), Windows (‘C’), Symbian (‘C’) etc… .

VisMPL hides the specifics of individual components - secure elements, TSM agents, etc… – this allows the Issuer to easily change the UI or secure element components without the need to change their application.
